Silver Gelatin Prints
The foundation of our traditional photo lab is its traditional Silver Gelatin prints.
Hidden Light makes the finest fiber base silver gelatin prints available. Our paper of choice is Ilford warmtone fiber base paper. It has wonderful tonal qualities and reacts to toning quite well. We both selenium and sepia tone our prints at your request. If there is another paper that suits your photographs better we are willing to work with you to achieve the desired results.

We work closely with amateurs and professionals alike to make sure that all their requests are met. Our lab has the ability to make projection prints from any film format up to 8″x10″ and contact prints of any format. We currently make Fiber Base prints up to 30″x40″. If you need larger prints, feel free to call and we can discuss your options.

We process B&W film in a rotary tube processor (jobo). Each roll or sheet of film is processed to manufacturer specifications to start. We work very closely with photographers to adjust exposure and processing to suit the needs of the print medium. We process film for Silver printing and Platinum Palladium printing on a regular basis. If you have specific wants or needs regarding your film processing please let us know.
Because each film is treated individually we will push or pull your film at no extra cost to you. We also work with a few different developers, including Pyrocat HD, at no extra charge.
